Begun in 1998, LiveOffice
Corporation was founded to provide financial
services professionals with the web-based
tools they need to establish an online business
presence in the competitive investment advisor
market.
Drawing on their previous
experiences within the financial services
industry, the founders knew that advisors
had few options when it came to building
a web site that would complement the many
facets of their practice. Determined to

As AdvisorSquare customers
became more adept with the capabilities
of their web sites, they began looking to
add large enterprise applications to their
web sites, such as online presentations
and live customer support, but quickly realized
that these solutions were too costly for
their small business budgets. As a result,
these customers turned to LiveOffice to
build them similar tools at prices they
could afford. LiveOffice answered with its
suite of Cool Tools, including LiveSiteManager.
In addition, as the NYSE,
NASD and SEC began to pay closer attention
to the volume of email and instant message
(IM) communications between representatives
and their clients, broker-dealers turned
to LiveOffice to build a solution that
would help compliance departments monitor
and archive their representatives’ email
and IM communications in compliance with
all regulatory requirements. LiveOffice
answered with its AdvisorMail product,
a web-based email and IM monitoring and
retention system that does not require
any upfront investment in new hardware,
software or connectivity prior to deployment
and fulfills all SEC/NASD/NYSE regulatory
requirements for e-mail surveillance, archiving
and retrieval.
Today, privately held
LiveOffice has used these experiences to
provide the entire small business market
with easy-to-use, feature-rich communication
and collaboration tools at an affordable
price. In existence for five years, the
company prides itself on its excellent word-of-mouth
reputation and personalized customer support.
